When studying for your CFA® Program it’s vital to get off to a good start. The best way to do this is by creating a detailed study plan.

Key Success factors to achieve your study goals

Studying takes time and dedication. Thankfully, we have many years of experience in helping candidates, and we’ve got useful tips and advice to share. This will help to maximize your chances of achieving your CFA® designation. We’ve identified key factors for success.

 

Preparation Time

Spend at least 300 hours preparing for your exam – think about how to divide your time between now and your exam date.

 

Practice

Candidates who correctly answer 1,000 official practice questions are nearly 2x more likely to pass on exam day.

 

Proficiency

Candidates who achieve an “advanced” proficiency rating or higher in most curriculum topics are more than 3x as likely to pass their exam.

 

Percentage

Candidates who score 70% on at least one official mock exam are more than 3x as likely to pass their exam.

① Mock Exam(매년 CFA 협회 제공)

② 커리북 연습문제 (커리북 각 Reading 별 나온 연습문제)

③ 슈웨이저 Practice Exam(Kaplan 제공)

④ Question Bank ((Kaplan에서 만든 컴퓨터로 제공되는 문제)

CFA  Level1 추천 공부 순서

 

CFA 1차 시험은 총 10과목으로 이루어 있습니다.

Ethics, AI, Derivative ,Quantitative, Economics, P/F, Corporate Finance, Equity Investment, FRA, Fixed Income

이 중 FRA 내용이 가장 많고 비중도 높습니다. 이에 FRA 초반에 두고 진행하시는 것이 좋습니다.

또한 과목 중 Ethics, Quantitative 는 다른 과목과 연관성이 크게 떨어지기 때문에 언제 하셔도 무방할 듯 합니다.

이에 추천하는 공부 순서는

1) Quantitative, Economics

2) FRA > Corporate Finance > Fixed Income

3) Equity Investment > Portfolio Management > Alternative Investment > Derivative

4) Ethics

입니다.

사람마다 차이고 있고 하니 참고용으로 사용하시고 가장 좋은 것은 1회 독을 최대한 빠르게 진행하고

2~3회독을 하시는 것이 좋습니다.
